I am not a skeptic but I am not convinced there are actually unexplained paranormal activity. I feel the vast majority of activity is either explained through sciences. However I am also a firm believer that anything is possible and my goal is to assist in the possible environmental factors that could lead to a parsimonious explaination to events.
I hold degrees in Physics, Biology, Organic Chemistry and German From Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

I've been interested in the paranormal for almost 10 years now. My interest first started when I noticed that sometimes I just know things about people or places without having met them or been there before - and I can later have these things confirmed. At times I get the feeling that I'm not alone (when I am) and shortly after get a "pins and needles" sensation. After checking into this I've come to realize it's called being "sensitive." Personally I'm not sure what it is and that's a big part of my reason for wanting to join ARPAST - to help explain things I feel, see, hear, or "know" in a scientific manner. I also have quite a few paranormal experiences that I would love to share so feel free to send an email and say hi!

Like most everyone here I have been interested in the paranormal as well as science for as long as I can remember. Having had a couple of "unexplainable" personal experiences myself I have been left with a number of questions. I believe that the scientific approach that ARPAST uses offers the best opportunity to explain the unexplainable. I am very excited to be part of a group of like-minded individuals who aren't just out to scare themselves but to honestly investigate claims of paranormal activity. I hope that my interest and dedication to this field of study along with my experience with audio and video equipment will make me a useful and productive member of the group.

I am 31, divorced, and have 2 kids. I live in Benton, Arkansas and I work in Retail at the moment. In my free time I like to watch movies, listen to music and surf the web. You know the normal stuff. I also watch GHOSTHUNTERS on Sci-Fi RELIGIOUSLY and I like to listen to COAST TO COAST AM as well. I have had quite a few paranormal experiences in my own life so I really look forward to meeting everyone and doing some investigations.

I have had experiences with the paranormal from as long ago as I can remember. During my adolescence, my friends and I conducted our own amateur research at an old penal farm in our rural community. I have been searching for a professional, well-organized group to conduct similar research with for several years, and was thrilled to learn about ARPast's existence. My goal is to learn as much as I can from the group and hopefully get explanations as to some of the more "odd" things I've experienced throughout my life. I am a mental health therapist currently working with juvenile delinquents. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and a Master's of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. I am licensed as a counselor in both Arkansas and Mississippi, and I am a nationally certified counselor.
