Larry Flaxman is an author and researcher on a mission to inform, empower, and entertain those fascinated by the paranormal. Best-selling author of seven books including “11:11 – The Time Prompt Phenomenon: The Meaning Behind Mysterious Signs, Sequences and Synchronicities,” “The Grid: Exploring the Hidden Infrastructure of Reality,” and “Viral Mythology: How the Truth of the Ancients was Encoded and Passed Down through Legend, Art, and Architecture,” Flaxman continues to write ground-breaking books on cutting-edge research that leave readers, researchers, and reviewers open-mouthed in disbelief of the truth as it’s presented to them.
Larry has been actively involved in paranormal research and hands-on field investigation for over fifteen years, and melds his technical, scientific, and investigative backgrounds together for no-nonsense, scientifically objective explanations regarding a variety of anomalous phenomena. He is the President and Senior Researcher of ARPAST, the Arkansas Paranormal and Anomalous Studies Team, which he founded in February of 2007. Under his leadership, ARPAST has become one of the nation’s largest and most active paranormal research organizations, with over 150 members worldwide. Widely respected for his expertise on the proper use of equipment and techniques for conducting a solid investigation, Larry also serves as technical advisor to several paranormal research groups throughout the country.
Larry has appeared on Discovery Channel’s “Ghost Lab,” and has been interviewed for dozens of print and online publications, including Ancient Aliens (History Channel), Fate Magazine, The Anomalist, Arkansas Democrat Gazette, Times Herald News, Jacksonville Patriot, ParaWeb, Current Affairs Herald, Unexplained Magazine, The Petit Jean County Headlight, the Villager Online, and The Pine Bluff Commercial. He has appeared on hundreds of radio programs all over the world, including multiple stints on “Coast to Coast with George Noory,” “TAPS Family Radio,” “Encounters Radio,” “Higher Dimensions,” “X-Zone,” “Ghostly Talk,” “Eerie Radio,” “Crossroads Paranormal,” “Binall of America,” "World of the Unexplained," and “Haunted Voices.”
Larry is a staff writer for Intrepid Magazine and his work has appeared regularly in TAPS ParaMagazine, New Dawn Magazine, and Phenomena Magazine. He is also a screenwriter with a paranormal thriller, “19 Hz,” currently in development with Bruce Lucas Films.
Larry is a popular public speaker, lecturing at paranormal and metaphysical conferences and events all over the country, including major repeat appearances at “Through the Veil,” “History, Haunts and Legends,” “ESP Weekend at the Crescent Hotel,” “The Texas GhostShow,” “DragonCon,” "The Paradigm Symposium," "Memphis ComicCon," and "The Parallel Universes and Consciousness Conference." He also speaks widely at local and regional meet-ups, bookstore signings, libraries and events on the subjects of science, the paranormal, metaphysics, Noetics and human potential.
Larry is also active in the development of cutting edge custom designed equipment for use in the field investigating environmental effects and anomalies that may contribute to our understanding of the paranormal.
