I'm very excited about joining ARPAST. I have always been curious about the paranormal but over the past year my interest has really grown. I look forward to working with a group of people that share this common interest. I've worked in non-profit for the past 6 years and enjoy volunteering for several local organizations in my free time.

Having grown up in rural Louisiana with all it's legends and ghost stories, I spent the early part of my life taking the paranormal for granted. Having had several paranormal experiences of my own, I have been frustrated at the lack of ability to validate these occurrences. Being a member of ARPAST will enable me to be part of paranormal investigation that is based on findings of up-to-date equipment and proven methods. I hope that this combined with good ol' gut feeling will further my quest in understanding the paranormal.

I am so excited to be a part of a group that is as eager as I am to research and become more knowledgeable about anomalous phenomena. I have always been intrigued by the "paranormal", and I am thrilled that I can now share my interest with others and gain a better understanding of the supernatural with a systematic and objective approach. ARPAST is a very professional and respectable organization, and I am proud to be a member.

Hello, I am a retired school teacher. For the last couple of years I have been involved with my husband in the business of purchasing older houses and renovating them. He has renovated several dozen houses in the last 5 years. Three different houses proved to be rather interesting as they were "occupied" at some point during our renovation. At two of those houses I encountered full body apparitions. One of those was witnessed by a second person in the room with me. While I am extremely scientifically minded and very level headed, I am also very open to the paranormal. I realize that there are many unexplained phenomena and I am extremely interested in studying these particular oddities. Because of my own personal experiences, I do not doubt that they exist so my questions are more on the line of :
1 - why do they bother to show themselves?
2 - are they trying to communicate something?
3 - are they aware of us or do we fade in and out of their existence as they fade in and out of ours?
4 - why don't we see them all the time?
5 - are they beings on another dimension or ghosts from previous lives on earth?
6 - if they are the souls of the previous living, why are they still here? (this one I think I understand .. ask me if you want to hear my long winded theory and ask my about my grandmother)

I hope to broaden my base of knowledge by studying these phenomena in a structured and scientific manner. I only hope I can be of some value to the team.

I’ve always been interested in all things paranormal from a very early age.  I’ve been an amateur ghost photographer for several years now and would love pursue my beliefs with other like-minded individuals.  I’ve always believed that there are things on the periphery of our lives that most people choose not to see or believe.  But it’s that ‘fear of the unknown’ that drives me to find more answers. Having studied Medical Technology and Computer Science, I’m hoping that I can aid ARPAST in documenting paranormal evidence.  Keeping a scientific mind to debunk things that can be explained, while keeping an open mind to try to explain the things that can’t.

My name is James Dugan. I am 34 years old and have always had an interest in the paranormal. I have read many books about the subject and I am very excited to be a part of this group. This group combines two of my favorite subjects science and the paranormal. I believe I have had a few experiences in my life that were paranormal and I would love to learn more about the subject.

I have been interested in the paranormal for as far back as I can remember. I started investigating around 1998 by doing cemetary hunts. In 2004 I moved to Savannah Georgia for about 8 months, this really peaked my interest in the paranormal as Savannah is one of the most haunted cities in the country. In early 2005 I helped start Texarkana Paranormal Investigators where I attended several investigations with ARPAST. I recently decided that I needed to move forward in my pursuit of knowledge in this field and decided to join ARPAST fully. I look forward to many more investigations with ARPAST.

As a child I had many experiences that were "unexplainable" to me at that time. I have a very open mind now because of those experiences. I am not going to make any assumptions about what I have heard or seen, without a complete understanding of the "Paranormal." I believe the best approach to get answers to my questions is scientific reasearch in paranormal phenomena. I joined ARPAST to further my knowledge in this field. I hope to gain firsthand experience while surrounding myself with people who have a scientific mindset in hopes to further explain what has been, to this point, "unexplainable."
